" NEW YORK in CADAQUÉS " it is a project begun in 2005 of abstract photography that compares a building in construction in Cadaqués with the city of New York, in search of the minimalist essence of the great city, which is formed in blocks of concrete and armed irons, the raw material of the current cities

It is definitely through an abstract approximation, a visual analogy between both places, important and different both but simultaneously perfectly complementary.

Photos from Cadaqués (B&W) were taken in 2005 and photos of New York in 2007.

IMPORTANT NOTE: that photos from Cadaqués were taken first… I was walking for the streets of Cadaqués and found a building in construction and start shooting ( you know I like strange things to shot!) while shooting I felt this where like a city, with its streets, its buildings and subway… I said OK! I’m now in a big city, I’m in New York … After a couple of years I won a 1st prize & then I flew to NY for the ceremony gala awards at the Lincoln Center, meanwhile I shot all around NY looking for its paralelism to complete the serie.
